May 18, 2023 ІХ scientific and practical conference of young scientists of Ukraine METALLIC MATERIALS, THEIR PRODUCTION AND PROSPECTS OF APPLICATION IN MODERN INDUSTRY was held in Physico-Technological Institute of Metals and Alloys of NAS of Ukraine, Kyiv.
Taking into account the realities of today, the goal of the conference was the exchange of relevant knowledge, practical experience and strategic visions in the direction of the creation and production of innovative products based on metal materials in the context of the creation and development of modern Ukrainian industry. The main directions of the conference were: the latest structural and functional metal materials, new effective technologies for obtaining metal materials and products from them, analytical reviews of foreign experience in creating innovative industries, existing experience and new proposals for the implementation of innovative technological solutions for the effective development of Ukrainian industry.
The conference was held in a mixed face-to-face and distance format. Postgraduate students, young and famous scientists from various institutions and cities of Ukraine took part in the conference - in particular, from the National Technical University of Ukraine "Ihor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" (Kyiv), Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University (Zaporizhia), Donbass State University Mechanical Engineering Academy (Kramatorsk), from the scientific institutions of the Department of Physical and Technical Problems of Materials Science of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine - Institute of Electric Welding named after E.O. Paton of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv), Physical and Mechanical Institute named after G. V. Karpenka of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Lviv), Institute of Problems of Materials Science named after I.M. Frantsevich National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv), Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy named after Z. I. Nekrasov of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Dnipro) and the Physico-Technological Institute of Metals and Alloys of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv), as well as from the G. V. Kurdyumov Institute for Metal Physics of the N.A.S. of Ukraine (Kyiv).
